About

Bringing a little solace back to the people who give it.

Home health and palliative clinicians bring comfort into people’s homes every day. Too often, their software sends them home with hours of charting. We think they deserve better.

Our name

sol·ace

noun: comfort or consolation in a time of distress.

That’s what a good home visit offers a patient and their family. It’s also what the right tools should offer the clinician: a system that stays out of the way, works where they work, and lets them finish the day without a backlog of notes.

Solace is an EHR built specifically for care that happens at home. We’re designing it alongside home health and palliative clinicians, starting from their days in the field rather than from a hospital system scaled down.

What we believe

The principles we build by.

01

Clinicians first

Every screen is judged by one question: does this help the person doing the visit?

02

Calm by default

Fewer clicks, fewer alerts, and nothing on screen that doesn’t need to be there.

03

Built for the field

Spotty signal, small screens, and kitchen-table charting are the starting point, not edge cases.

04

Whole-person care

Goals, comfort, and family context belong in the record next to diagnoses and vitals.
